Are you forgetting Berbatov hitting the post, Hernandez and Giggs missing decent chances, Berbatov having one cleared off the line, and Brown having another one off the line, Not to mention Hernandezs goal.

    6-0 my hole.

i don't think reina had a save to make, if you can't accept your team was completely outclassed today then you know very little about the game

just to make you feel better 6-1 then

Fun thread, though I'm surprised no-one has put up a picture of Nani's injury yet.

You have a point about that type of tackle being better off out of the game and I agree with you. But in the heat of the moment, a fan getting carried away and confusing where exactly the fine line falls between tough tackles and ones that are too dangerous is understandable. If you say that you've never been happy with one of your team's players' over zealous tackles then I don't believe you.

If any Liverpool fans are saying now, after the game, that Carragher's tackle was actually OK and didn't deserve a red then they are completely wrong.

Was borderline a yellow card in my opinion - Horrible theatrics from Nani trying to get Carra sent off, no need for it in the modern game!

Was there any mention of Van Der Sars elbow on Kuyt after the first goal

Also nani had his shinpads up, the studs went through it:mad:

The studs didnt go through it, Carraghers boot pushed the pad down

I have no problem discussing the tackle on Nani as long as Rapheals tackle is in the same discussion .

If that's a borderline yellow card then you must have to rip somones head off to get a red. 100% a yellow card, borderline my bollix.

That was accidental tbf. Even the Liverpool players weren't bothered by it. VDS was running off complaining, Kuyt was celebrating - they ran into each other. Pretty obvious.

If you think 6-0 or 6-1 was a fair result, then you are painfully deluded.

Special mention should go to Suarez and his hair-pulling antics.

It was a red card high and over the ball. But then Rafaels was two footed and should also have been red

I think 3-1 was about right.

Unlucky United! Pathetic tactical performance from Fergie, time to give it up old timer. Bring on John O'Shea to rescue the game!

Carrick and Scholes in midfield, pathetic.

Playing Rooney, Berbatov and Hernandez with no width whatsoever.

Only United players to come out with any credit are Rafael, Smalling, Evra and Giggs.

And as for Nani's tackle, I'm sure United fans know a lot about bad tackles.

stuck in, are you being serious?

so your saying carra's tackle was a stuck in tackle, what planet are you living on

he totally went to end nani's game

I dont give a **** if nani likes his drama, it doesnt excuse the tackle or the comments from LL.

they are the lowest of the lowest comments, we may have our rivalry but to be delighted in an opposition player getting a tackle like that is the lowest of the lowest

No. I think Carra's tackle was a very bad tackle and fully deserving of red. The tackle is not excused by Nani's persona. And the tackle is not excused by getting stuck in either.

I'm saying that in the heat of the moment (ie during the game) a Liverpool fan is going to have some difficulty being objective. And they are going to be happy with their players getting stuck in, but they will make mistakes about what's going too far. And they are going to be happy with opposition players going off injured, unless it's a horrific injury which this isn't, even if the worst pic is real.

three points went to the right team today, no delusion about that, liverpool were far better...... but united fans shouldn't get all depressed about this one bad week as the league is still very much theirs for the taking

That was an accident like they were trying to say Rooney's was last week.

I think now we can all see the difference between an accident and going for the player

but it wouldn't have happened if Carra had been sent off, and they are completely different. Both reds but while Rafael's was a potential leg breaker, Carragher's was a leg breaker.

what did Nani do that upset you? Should he have stayed standing on that and risked further injury? What are you saying he should have done?

I think 3-1 was about right.

I agree, 3-0 would have been a bit flattering given the amount of times we came close to scoring and the nature of Liverpools goals.

    Heat of the moment?

pro will you ****ing give it a break, the heat of the moment is in the bar, not when your replying to the thread and typing and probably seeing the replay

please dont give me that ****e.

How do you know it isnt a bad injury? Looks pretty bad to me and he wouldnt be going off other wise.

I know your dislike for nani but please dont even try to justify the likes of LL posts.

why because I've an issue with tackles that can potentially end careers not being punished? I've said in this thread that United were shíte and Liverpool deserved their win, complimenting Suarez and Meireles who United should have signed when they got the chance. What do you want me to say 'I love Liverpool they are great'?

Also you can feck off if you think you have the right to tell me I'm biased

He should be ok, Sky said he was able to walk out of the ground onto the bus on his own

Honestly think he faked it so he didnt get too much of a bollocking of SAF. clumsy challenge but not a leg breaker

Nani received a gash in the leg but walked out of Anfield. He'll be back soon enough I'd say.

look at where he hit Nani, Nani's foot was planted, it's no different to either of the ones that happened to Arsenal in recent years as far as I'm concerned.
