#MUFC say Sir Alex Ferguson not speaking to media after #LFC defeat, including MUTV. Players also under orders not to talk

    Sorry gotta disagree.

1st goal: Suarez tore defence apart and passed to him. Suarez made that goal.

2nd Goal: He had no idea that Nani would pass it to him but put it away well.

3rd goal: He followed up well to put away free kick taken by Suarez.

Everything Suarez did today was fantastic and 2 goals would not have been scored if not for him.

Definite man of the match for me!

Sure most of Alan Shearers or Gary Linekars career were about being in the right place at the right time. Kuyt was lucky for the second goal in that it was headed in his direction, but he was still there to head it before anyone else on the pitch despite having VDS, Smalling and another Pool player there.

Suarez was fantastic yes, but this downplaying of Kuyts sense of where-to-be is a bit baffling, take-out Kuyt being int he right place each time and it might still be 0-0...

Well we could argue this all day.

Just making the point that Suarez was the man who created most today.

Also think that ball might have gone in for 1st goal if Kuyt hadn't followed up!

Anyhow, guarantee people and media will be talking more about Suarez's performance today rather than Kuyt!

By the way, please don't take this as me criticising Kuyt, he did his job well and tackled great etc, just wasn't MOTM for me!

Rubbish United display.Kuyt took the chances gifted to him.
Nani is a complete & utter ****ing FAIRY,i hope he gets ribbed to pieces for that little display.

Im more annoyed with Chelsea on Tuesday night than this though.
    End of.

And what if Rafael had gone off? He also deserved a red.

We were well beaten today. Talk of what ifs about red cards is pathetic.

Did he f*ck, he didn't even touch him, and Lucas should have been carded for his kick in the build up to it.

I also think the commentators made the Nani/St Johns incident sound worse than it was, he punched the ground in frustration, didn't swipe out at them like the commentator suggested.

In fairness he did play fantastically, looks like a great buy for Pool and has probably contributed more this season than Torres for them.

No one from United talking to the media (MUTV included). Gagging order from Fergie apparently.

Was away playing gaelic and didn't see the match. We got a bit of a hammering in our match but whn I heard the Liverpool result it lifted my spirits a bit!

I'm sorry that means shag all that he didn't touch him. Do you honestly think refs need to wait until a players leg is hanging off for a red card to be justified? If a player attacks a ball in a way that would most likely cause serious injury but for the awareness of the "tackled" a red is good enough for me. Ryan Taylor didnt touch Elmander last week but his red card was totally justified.

Rafael threw himself into it, came off the ground, and if he had connected with a standing leg (a la Carragher) it probably would have injured the player.

Rafael goes in hard to every challenge, just happened to mistime that one, a yellow at most.

    Agree with you here.
There should have been 2 red cards IMO today.
Wreckless is wreckless whether you get the player or not.
I think Rafael is a liability for United

Is Fergie being a sore looser? He's want to talk to Rio then....

    Bad result today no excuses.

Great result. Suarez is class. :D

Fergie is losing the plot lately. It was a poor tactical approach today and we benefited massively from it. Meireles, Suarez and Kuyt pretty much did what they wanted for about 60 mins.

Great to see a loyal servant like Kuyt get a hattrick to remember.

It was your opinion and you were quite entitled to it.
It'd be a boring world if we all thought the same.
At least you are singing from the same hymn sheet now:D

Losing the plot. Love it to be honest. Alex Ferguson is losing the plot, evne though he came second last season and won prior seasons. Two CL finals.

    Stop embarrassing yourself please.

I dont think United were going to speak to the media no matter the result. Fergie didnt do a press conference or talk to MUTV the other day either.

Poor result for United, its a shame they have no serious competition. They will walk the league.

Apparently this is Nani's injury -

    (not for the squimish)

    You are talking absolute bull.
He's contractually obliged to speak after the game.
    Sour grapes from Fergie again

Nope, he won't. Isn't he still quietly paying a 10k-per-week fine for refusing to speak to the Beeb? He's one stubborn S.O.B.

Liverpool (-1) at 11/2 just seems way too high for a home team even if they are against the top of the table especially considering United have lost two of their last three away and have a huge injury list. Can see pool winning 1-0 or 2-1 but I'd be on the -1 at that huge price. My prediction is going to be 2-0 Liverpool though.

    *Facepalm*

Why o why am I so poor, if I had even 2e to put on I would have. Balls:(
