    didn't see the tackle on Nani but Da Silva is a very lucky boy to be on the pitch.


    Considering how you lot called for Flamini to get a lengthy ban after his tackle on Corluka and I'd consider this a far more dangerous tackle. Over the ball, clearly intended to do the player, off leg raised to knee height.

    How do you defend that?

    My own take on it is it should have been 2 reds, Nani is a case of the boy who called wolf but at the same time wishing him an injury or condoning Carraghers tackle is plain wrong.

    But they had Ba in their attack...based on the last 4 matches he has played he is obviously a 50 million rated striker.

    Taking a swing is one thing,flapping your hand is something very different,he was obviously in alot of pain.

    Despicible tackle from Carragher,Raf wasnt much better.

    Terrible first half performance and Liverpool deserve their lead even if they were 2 relatively soft goals.

    Carragher hit Nani in the knee, the only difference is that they were unlucky and Nani (at least seemed to, could still be out for a long time) got lucky. Just because his leg didn't snap in half doesn't make it any less bad.
