He's just upset he can't wear a skirt out later.

You've obviously never suffered a leg break

Just realised there are some fools in this thread, taking more delight in a players injury than their own team winning is just sad. But I suppose some hate how successful Utd are nowadays. Still no need to lower themselves to that level.

Take off the tinted glasses wheres the photo of rafael tackle (worst tackle of the game so far) and the one where scholes tried to karate kick lucas in the chest???

Scholes didnt even know Lucas was there and was just going thumping the ball away so taht wasnt even his fault.

Carragher should have been sent off. Do I give a ****? No. Am I highly amused by Nani's reaction and happy to see him off? Yes. That's honesty.

    Good stuff all told.

+1, Nani is the example of whats wrong with modern football. Anyone who actually believes he is 'injured' needs to look at his history. No doubt utd will announce afterward he is out for months, before he reappears for the next game to dive, roll, playact, hold his face and shed a few tears.

Nah, most people do take a certain pleasure in it. Its just they have the sense not to say it. Especially on a forum, where the moral high ground is over populated.

    No they don't.

    Most people are normal.

Don't try & tar everyone with the same brush.

    Stop quoting the goddamn images!

As a Utd fan I'm embarrassed by what happened on the pitch, as should any Liverpool fans. It's like watching a bunch of 15 year olds from Tallaght playing sunday league.

That Carragher one is legitamitely one of the worst takles I have ever seen. He had no interntion of playing the ball.

Rafael's isn't great either and he could have seen red but Carragher's was whole new level of bad. Simply put, that was a potential career ending tackle.

    Complete scum.

The funny thing when you actually break the players leg you get a load of people defending you i.e "he's not that sort of lad" and the like.

    Well if your English anyway.

    So much bias its unreal.

    Shocking challenge by Carra.

    Shocking challenge by rafa.

    Maxi's was a yellow.

Squirtle shouldn't have been a yellow.

Karate kid should have been given a yellow.

And yes, Nani is an idiot, I already said it was a bad challenge but I dont think he was hurt. He deserves no sympthy, hes a similar chancer to Ronaldo and looks like he took lessons from Carlos Alberto in drama.

Liverpool have been the far far better side, possession is 60/40 and we've played much better football. Carroll would do wonders out there, if he keeps his tempter in check.

Any sign of G. Neville in the crowd for comic value?

You call it as you see fit.

But how you see it is not fit for posting.

You are not a supporter of the game. You are a disgrace to your club.

Absolutely love Suarez pulling Rafael's hair.

I thought girls fought like that, not professional footballers.

And they say Nani acts like a f*cking girl?

    Really?

I dont see too many Liverpool fans who have shown delight that Nani could be possibly injured seriously.

    Unless Im wrong?

Just out of interest would you not think tackles like Carraghers [and Rafaels] are an example of whats wrong with modern football? You could easily be looking at two broken legs there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,713 ✭✭✭Cianan2

Honestly lads, you're all a different kettle. They both were terrible tackles, we can all establish that but calling Nani pathetic and a joke is a bit ridiculous before the doctors report comes in!

I thought it was funny when I saw it, but when he was stretchered off and subbed, I thought I should save judgement - if he plays their next game, I will join Liverpool's side on that one.

But Carra's tackle was definitely the worse of the 2!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

Oh Chicha...could have been better there. God we are a shambles at the back but Liverpool's play is very good in fairness.

United were losing 2-0 to Blackpool at half-time and won it by the end so it's not over yet but Fergie needs to give them a bollocking. I'd like Fletcher on.

Liverpool are NOT Blackpool or villa. king kenny is back, should have taken the job earlier. and no way is man u ever gonna spend 100 mill. the club exists to pay off the owners debts.

Jesus Rooney, what sort of a ball was that?

people after seeing that tackle saying Nani is faking injury

face it that was a scumbag tackle and could have broken Nani's leg, was worse than Shawcross on Ramsey and as bad as that Birmingham bloke on Eduardo.

I support United, yes. But I can't be responsible for other people's behaviour.

Idiots from any club do nothing for the enjoyment of the game. All they try to do is rile everyone up - and usually do it with some success.

Personally, I would have them banned from match threads & let everyone else get on with civilised discussion & banter.
