You'd have to question how serious it is given he bounced up straight away to show everyone it. Not saying he couldn't be hurt but given its Nani you'd have to have some element of doubt.
wouldn't be the first delayed reaction ever, seemed to go down again when he put pressure on his leg.

Great stuff from Carragher - delighted to see Nani ****ed out of the game.

No need for that. What a scummy thing to say.

You're winning the match & fair play, but do you really have to drag it down like that?

Can you not be satisfied with the scoreline, or is there something missing in your life that you have to make up for with pathetic comments?

See the smile on Souness' face, that fcuker loves it when the players "leave a bit in" when tackling

Liverpool fans defending Liverpool and United fans defending United in mundane boards.ie shocker arguement.

I'm not defending anything or anyone. Carragher's challenge was bad. Cool - glad it counted.

Like I give a damn. That's how to deal with players like Nani. He complains everytime you go near him, so you might as well give him something real to whinge about every so often.

If ya can't beat him, injure him?

Terrible performance from a United point of view..
Liverpool playing well and deservedly in front.

Carra and Rafa should both be off, connecting and intent are the same in my book.
    Dreading the second half..............

a fair comment. both should be gone. i just don't understand how poor united are in midfield. they need to bring on Fletcher.

2 easy goals from that hard working Kuyt.

Utd are shaken, lost and scared. Feel the wrath of the Pool.

    I predict 4-0.

The true scum showing their true colours, laughing at a player being stretchered off.

No, Im laughing at the fact that he got up again after the tackle to show the ref what ever he wanted to prove and then falls to the ground like a terrible actor. Thats what was funny.

real classy, you've hit a new low.

I couldn't agree more. Great to see a fan condoning a player to go out and do a fellow professional and get him off.

Some nasty tackles going on there

    1. Carragher should have been sent off for this, not booked

    img00175201103061423.jpg

    2. Maxi should have been off / booked before Rafael done his tackle

    img00177201103061424.jpg

    3. Juarez pulls Rafaels hair, should have been booked

Both teams should be down to ten men, dowd was at least consistent.

I'm glad it was 2 yellows to be honest -could have ruined the game.
BUT he was consistent - no one can argue with that.

Lol at the liverpool supporters cheering on the knee high tackle that injured nani and then calling for a red for a bad attempted tackle that didn't make contact.

    I know, it's really funny, isn't it??!!! :D

oh so much bitterness for united fans  the absolute worst team i've ever seen top of the league at this stage in the season!

dont deserve anything more than a good beating here!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,618 ✭✭✭The Sparrow

That Carragher one is legitamitely one of the worst takles I have ever seen. He had no interntion of playing the ball.

Rafael's isn't great either and he could have seen red but Carragher's was whole new level of bad. Simply put, that was a potential career ending tackle.

    Complete scum.
