Hey, I am 16 and did my theory test last week.

I will be 17 on the 28th March 2011, and the new regulations are in on the 4th of April 2011.

So to ensure that i get my provisional in time can i apply for it before i turn 17 ?

Or does it require me to be 17 on the date of application ?

    Thanks.

Safest thing to do is to go into your local tax office on or after your birthday and apply there and then. Make sure you have everything ready to go. Someone on boards was saying that there is a backlog for the postal applications.
