Help, with what is probably a stupid question?

Hi Folks,

Have an old guitar lying around which a young nephew wants to take off my hands to learn guitar. Can any of you tell me what i have circuled in the above picture. They seem like spacers where the key head comes up. Searched the internet to no avail.
Any help will be apprciated, where I could possible find them or a name?

They're called ferrules. You're nearly better off just buying a new set of tuners and putting them on. They're not that expensive.

Knew someone here would know the answer. Are the bushings easy to put on or would it be better to get a new tuner

they are generally push-in,but your problem here is what size bushing to get
Fender and Gibson used differing size tuner Holes/posts depending on if it's a vintage of modern tuner,also Asian manufacturing used/uses differing sizes of tuner post so finding a match would require accurate measuring of whats installed

if you give us the shaft diameter and the hole diameter we'll find a match
