Tormey is coming across as a psycho. Is he likely to get elected this time?

    What Sardonicat said.

I disagree. I'm no Ganley supporter but i know of nothing that would suggest he is a fascist.
This is the third time i've heard him talk regarding the banking situation and each time he has made sense.

    naw.

he's a guy that passes a car wreck and starts dismantling spare parts for his own use.

the man is a selfish user.

Perhaps that is true; but it doesn't mean that he isn't talking sense.

But is it sensible for us to leave the EU? That's what he's suggesting, isn't it? Or leave the EU currency but stay in the EU? Is that possible? Would the EU even want us if we were to default and leave the euro? What's the outcome if we follow Declans advice, everything ends well?

well. what i mean is that he's exploits every situation for his own gain.

if he was in power his tune would change accordingly - ie, we should not default.

ie, i dont believe he is honest or has integrity. but that's just me. :)

Ganley wants a man like this on his ballot paper

Stick around for long enough and we just might get one.

I hate that we are paying for the failed investments of major bond-holders but I get the feeling that for Ganley this seems like a manoeuvre in order to get out of the EU.

He's basically saying, we can't go to europe and say we want to renegotiate unless we have a plan b. as in they are not going to agree to anything unless we show them we have an alternative- however **** it may be.
