    prevents freezing as low as -40 degrees c, surely if the pipes are frozen going to it there will be no water:confused:

    I know what you mean but that's not their problem, as far as their concerned once you can get water to it, the drinker won't freeze.

    I'd be inclined to spend more money on insulated pipes than the drinker as they are more laborious to thaw out in general
