What size concrete slurry tank ?

Anyone be able 2 give me a rough guide as to what size thank i would need for winter housing of 16 cows with calves ? just need a rough idea im going through different options Many Thanks

we,ll say 1500gls a cow . a bit less if you have straw run back +maybe a third of that for calves. depends on where you farm and winter length

depends on storage needs for nitrates, if ok 36' x 12' would surfice with dry area for calves. To comply with nitrates all depends on what area your in.
