[CoD Black Ops] - MegaBitch thread

Playing snd on firing range with ade,mag,lakes and a few others. I killed one guy already then everyone died so it was me v five. Boom, claymore kill, 2 more quick kills. Send up uav and cuav, see the last two,heart racing.. Flash them and then I lagg badly, gutted because I rarely manage more than one kill as the last guy. 4 outta six ain't bad.

Got black ops back today after lending it to a mate for nearly 2 months,didn't take long to realise why I was in no hurry to get it back,it's actually worse than I remember it being first time around.
Roll on killzone 3,the multiplayer demo even pisses all over this rubbish.

The general retardedness among the Blops community is staggering

I mostly play HQ, and when you aren't in a party the randoms you get put with are usually braindead. No effort to capture HQ's. Basically just playing HQ in an attempt to farm XP from other people's hard work

Also - every prestige I play Demolition to get the 10 plants for ninja pro. Again, people's stupidity is astounding. If they let you plant, kill you then diffuse they'd get like 600xp more than they'd get if they kill you as you plant

I don't care about the deaths, just want to get in and out with the ten plants asap

Haha classic, the whole point of demolition is to play the objectives, not for you to fulfill some personal target to unlock something. If i let you plant the bomb there is no garuantee that i will be able to diffuse it before one of your other team members kill me. If i play demolition its to play it to win the objective not to gain XP. If your going to play a game of demolition you cant expect someone to let you plant the bomb, that would defeat the purpose of the game.

Demo is an absolute abortion of a game mode, don't know how people play it

Me getting plants fulfills the objective of the game. While the people I'm complaining about are the exact opposite. Treating a game of HQ as if it were TDM

Yeah, but people letting you plant so they can get more XP isn't playing the objective effectively, cause they are risking not being able to defuse it.

Probably the most annoying thing that happened me was during the double points I was playing HQ and would be getting 14,000 match XP for each game and one time I was playing on my own with randomers who were spanking the opposition and we won like 250-50 or something but after the game I get a message saying 'stop cap noob'.

I was so angry, the lobby closed after the game so I wasn't bothered replying but this just again shows the pure foolishness of the general COD community that they went to HQ, where the vast majority of points you get are for capping HQs to whore kills, where you get half as much XP for a kill as you do for Sabotage and TDM. Just another reason why the COD community for the most part (there are some proper players out there and it just makes it all the better when you get a proper team) is the main problem with the game.

Well, now that I've had the opportunity to play this game and really digest what it has to offer, I'd like to give an updated opinion on it.

Firstly, I loved MW2 and having put BO on for the first time, I got an overwhelmingly disappointed feeling. A feeling that I wished they should have just left it as is. Yes, some little gripes I had, just like everyone else - but come on, quickscoping was a great ability. Nobody could just pick up a rifle and hit these mid-air twirls. I took them a few times, even in Search and Destroy - but the only thing I could do is say, "wow, well done". It was magnificent.

The same with the gameplay in general. Firing up a multiplayer match on this is just like going through the motions and they haven't even fixed the re-spawn glitch - is it getting worse?! I'll admit, that if a Zombie mode had not have been included, I wouldn't be playing it for this long. I went back to Team Deathmatch and the other modes last night and it just couldn't grab my interest at all. In fact, the only reason I play this game is because of Zombies.

I've always bought COD. But something just doesn't feel right anymore - I'm not sure if it's this particular edition or whether it's becoming repetative now in it's 94th installment but I'm thinking about picking up another such as Battlefield - perhaps you guys could give me some tips on what developer is worth the investment...

I'm not speaking for everyone, of course - but at this rate, I think Treyarch would have to release new DLC every month to keep my attention. I'd be most happy if they released all the previous Zombie maps onto the marketplace. The released Zombie DLC from now on solely.

quickscoping was way too easy in MW2 because of SOHP. There was however nothing wrong with it in the previous 2 installments and what they did to snipers in BLOPs at the start was a disgrace. I quite like it now but it's still not like it should be. There should be no random sway making it take longer for snipers to shoot in a game where ARs and SMGs can kill you from long range in about 5 seconds.

Grrr, was playing TDM on Launch, doing grand, get first blood with a grenade from the off, and then 2 more kills. The team I was on most of them were killed straight away, put up my Spy Plane, look at the minimap...my whole team has rage quit, hit select, the entire other team is there. Kinda annoyed at this...play away anyway and do pretty good, on 7-1 then the lag starts! :mad: Get one more kill and then I am on 8-6 killed again, host migration and the game quit to the main screen with no lobby!

Worst thing about it was that when I was killed the last time it put the other team in the lead! :mad: I was actually winning on my own and then the fcuking lag started!

I more or less done with the L96. 8 hitmarkers earlier on, all chest height except for one and from less than 25 yards(playing on Summit). BS.

Did you try it with the Acog? It's a beast of a gun with it, use warlord pro and extended mags.

I have never been able to use ACOG, even going back to COD4 where I was a very good sniper... this all despite everyone I knew who played with me either being very good or average at the game doing more than decent with the ACOG

Why don't you use the Psg1? I can't snipe but when I try to I find its the best of them good,far less hitmarkers than the L96

Oh I will. But I rather not. I've always preferred bolt action except for my beloved 50 Cal, namely in COD4 where it was not popular.

PSG is one shot kills chest or above now after the patch.

PSG with the Acog for me everytime , just sussed it out on my last prestige , on certain maps its unreal .

What the hell is going on.
Since Sunday I have gone negative in every game. :mad:
I'm not talking 15-17 I'm talking 3-17 or 6-25

I'm just getting hit marker after hit marker but no kills. Quite a few games I've got host and still the same problem.

The funny thing is, in one game it was very laggy and I was getting great kills until it popped up "HOST MIGRATION" after that the game got very smooth but I did not get another kill from that point on.

They should just call this the rage quit game.

Strange indeed that you're getting host and still bullets aren't registering, that makes no sense at all.

After messing around with the shotguns and being dissapointed it hit me, why the fúck is the KS-23 not online? It's by far the best shotgun in the singleplayer and yet isn't even in the multiplayer? Was there a reason for this?
