Following a series of incredibly destructive clashes between meta-humans the world has turned on so called “masks” violently. Any individuals exhibiting meta-human abilities are hunted down and killed. All technologically based heroes and villians are executed, and their technology repurposed to continue the great purging of “:non-humans”. Any purely human “mask”, who ceases their now criminal behavior is offered a simple choice: retire, and pray they never catch you, or continue and be hunted down and publicly killed by the new government sponsored “mask-hunters”. After five years almost every mask has been eliminated except for a handful of still active renegades. One such is Oliver Queen, better known as The Green Arrow. Currently on the run he has washed up in Detroit where he has made the acquaintance of a disgruntled former U.S. Army Special Forces officer named Snake Plissken. Snake has promised to help Queen get out of the country in exchange for a large sum of money. Unbeknownst to them however the government has decided to try a new approach to capture the few remaining “mask” fugitives. They are forcing already captive members of the community to pursue fugitives in exchange for a promised parole. Following their success in terminating the "masks known as Young Avengers Clint Barton and Marc Spector have been assigned the Queen case with orders to make sure the target does not leave Detroit alive. Succeed and they get new lives. However, to prevent them betraying their new masters they both have been implanted with a combination tracking/ explosive device near their hearts. Should they fail to eliminate their target within a week the devices will detonate. Try to escape, and the devices will be remote detonated.0 -

Spider Jerusalem has enjoyed a long and storied career. Unfortunately over the years he has offended many powerful people. Now they have decided to remove him permanently. Using cloned bodies they have reanimated two deadly killers to eliminate him. However, in Spider’s favor is the fact that one of the lab techs working on said project is the grandson of one new York City’s greatest heroes, John McClane. Borrowing a spare vat he has brought his grandfather back in his physical prime and with a lifetime’s memories of dealing with heavily armed maniacs. McClane has arrived on Spider’s mountain heavily armed and ready to help this foul mouthed bastard save his own life.
Notes on this match:
1. Yes, it is the real Bullseye and Two-Face. They are merely uploads of the originals into cloned bodies.
2. Bullseye does not have the adamantium on his skeleton though.0 -

Speedy and a well-armed drifter have found themselves displaced through time thanks to the effects of the device Prometheus used to devastate Star City. They find themselves in Feudal Japan where they promptly run afoul of a local lord and his retainers. The lord fearing these oddly dressed strangers has kidnapped The Lone Wolf’s son and is holding him hostage . He will be returned after his father deals with these interlopers. To insure the Lone Wolf’s compliance he has recruited a thief he recently captured who is quite willing to work for anyone who pays him enough to aid in the hunt.
Notes:
1. Speedy has no trick arrows this time around
2. Connor is carrying a Glock 17 with 2 spare magazines, and a Ka-bar knife.0 -
Cool pairings. Really unexpected duos.
I am a huge Lone Wolf and Cub fan, so John Connor and Speedy are getting chopped up into firelogs in this one for me.
Speedy may be well trained but she is still only a well trained woman with no superpowers who has a medical condition that can affect her badly. Plus her ability with a bow is nowhere near that of Green Arrow.
John Connor is a survivor with a glock, some ammo and a knife. Plus I hate the character so for me he is screwed in this regardless.
They are up against Ogami Itto in fuedal Japan? The same Ogami Itto whose son is on the line if he does not win? The same man is is an expert as in fighting with or without weapons as well as being a master with a bow and arrow?
Also they are two Americans walking around in Feudal Japan, so they will stick out like sore thumbs, and be treated with suspician and hostility by locals.
No contest. Ogami Itto slices and dices them, or picks them off from range thanks to his local knowledge of ambush points, then goes off and kills the lord who was holding his son.
Autolycus sits it out as he won't kill, and simple plunders the lord's gold after Ogami Itto has killed the lord and left.
Ogami Itto and Autolycus for the win.:)0 -

Connor and Speedy for me, I don't see how their opposition can best them. John Connor can take out a master thief pretty easily IMO, especially a master thief with a reluctance to kill and who is preoccupied with making quips! I don't see how his heart could be in this battle.
Connor and Speedy proceed to double team Ogami.
Connor and Speedy FTW.
Oh and btw, next time, use a pic of Bale or Furlong!!

Lex Luthor has designed a device capable of time travel. His field test if it is to travel back in time and steal the secrets of The Oracle at Delphi. To insure his safety he has coerced the current Batgirl into coming along as his bodyguard. Meanwhile Xena has come across a strangely dressed fellow who claims to be from the distant future. before she can decide what to do with him Apollo arrives and demands she stop the intruders who are threatening his oracle.(They don't believe in him, therefore he is unable to attack them without destroying the oracle as well)
Notes:
Kirk has phaser and communicator which is acting as a translator for him. Luthor is carrying a pistol and various diagnostic equipment. he has also equipped himself and Miss Brown with his own version of a Universal translator.0 -
