Water for cattle

Hi all,
the farm I have rented is made up of 4 fields which are in a line and the last field has the water supply (river). The field with the river is low lying and wet but the others are dry. This field becomes poached in wet weather due to the stock going to the river. My problem is that the farm has to be grazed as one unit because of the water problem. I would like to have a supply of water in the other fields so I could rotational graze. There is no power on the farm. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Depends on how far you need to pump water but a pasture pump could be an option. Some can pump 250m. Google pasture pumps for info.

is there any way you can fence a small path running thru all the fields that could run to the river, depends on how fields seperated i suppose, you will prob just have to get a few ibcs and a 12v pump and run them up and down to river in and fill every few days

would it be awful hassle to have a JFC trough or something that you could move as needed from paddock to paddock and fill it every 4-5 days by bringing water over from home.
Means there is no need to spend money on pumps etc and since the land is rented, you prob dont want too much outlay on it.
