It's actually incredible. Haunting, poignant, nostalgic, heart-wrenching. I don't think I ever gave Adele enough credit, she's unbelievably talented. So beautiful.

Yup, I remember that one too. Of course, the "half televote, half jury" thing wasn't used in Eurovision back then and all the televoters voted for their neighbours, so it got nowhere. :rolleyes:

If it was purely down to the song, that should have won hands down.

Been listening to the Radiohead record. It will need more listens before I can fully appreciate it. It's nowhere near as accessible as In Rainbows was imo. Doesn't mean it's not good though.

It's beautiful throughout. Radiohead, like Sonic Youth for example, only make music on their own terms which is part of what makes them great.

I've become slightly obsessed with Chic of late. They have some of the finest songs of the disco/funk era but this I think is their best, just about. A real eargasm.
