So what did you bargain them down to? Was up as €22k+ as absolutely lowest I recall.

this car was deffo not up for sale at 22k or anywhere near it. i seen this car in the flesh a month or 2 ago been driven in town by the previous owner while it was up for sale privately on carzone.

middle aged gentleman owned it IIRC. looked stunning in the flesh.

the first thing i would do to that yok is get the chrome on the grill carbon fiber wrapped.

I fucking love carbon fiber, but don't agree with it on this particular car, especially the colour it is!

Anyways...if you're getting it wrapped you might as well scratch 'I can afford an M5, but I can't afford real carbon fiber' onto the bonnet

And for the record, I have a carbon fiber grill ;)

    Yes, I really own one!

onto the bonnet? no no no, i said the chrome grill, because cheap plastic chrome is so wrong on this car, plus you wouldn't know the difference in the newer wetlook wraps on a grill of an e60.

no point, you can get actual CF grills that replace the OEM grill, not that i'd do it now tbh.

if you do the grill theres a few other spot that need to be done too, to tie it in IMO.

The difference is very, very obvious!

even better, didn't know that. would look sweet imo, because its the only chrome part on it.

You would be a way better off to fess up and be a man and post of your other account. Grow a pair.

Sorry OP your thread has gone way way OT with this .

Best of luck with it Op - and 14mpg - you should be able to squeeze at least 17mpg out of it:D Be prepared for a new best friend - the attendant at the local petrol station. Still it's all worth it.

I got her from a dealer in the midlands actually - there's 2 years full warentee with it aswell (sweet). Would rather not say how much but it was above your fig. Im liking the colour more and more (and more)

Taking her out for a spin today it was a real head turner. Was surprised to see how many noticed it (far more than a clean e46)

Loving the input on this - thanks for all your feedback

on mobile so can't see pics but there was definitely a sepang bronze m5 on carzone for 23k private sale the last few weeks. Ad disappeared a few days ago. Black leather with matt finish wood iirc.

I wouldnt do a thing to it. Some cars just dont need any moding. Try to drive with it as it is now, therebis nothing worse then spending a fortune on mods amd then realise that its better of stock.

Ditto... I am 110% certain about this too. I am so in love with M5's that I am up on carzone every week looking to see when one will miraculously drop to €10k:o - few years yet.

Was just over €22k and had come down rapidly and specifically said no offers etc - usual thing.
