    It’s competition time!!

Travelling Potter is one of the most incredible businesses we have come across and we are delighted to announce that our first competition of 2011 is being sponsored by this amazing lady.* The prize up for grabs is a €75 voucher which can be redeemed against a Travelling Potter Party or against the wonderful selection of personalised gifts, crafts and silver fingerprint jewellery available from Travelling Potter.

Travelling Potter is a mobile “Paint your own Pottery” studio.* Assemble your group and they come to you with all the equipment needed to paint a beautiful, unique pottery piece. *It’s a super idea for a child’s party and with Holy Communion season around the corner, what a great way to have your child and their friends make a commemorative piece of their very special day to treasure forever. *Travelling Potter can also be booked for lots of other occasions – birthday parties, after-school activities, rainy days, adults parties, get-togethers, hen nights, creative coffee mornings, corporate team-building, social evenings. To find out more visit http://www.childrensparties.ie/travelling-potter-paint-your-own-pottery-we-come-to-you/ and become a fan on Facebook -http://www.facebook.com/pages/Travelling-Potter/136524376019.

    Want to enter?* It’s easy.

We will be hiding a picture of an item made by Travelling Potter on our site at various times each day from Monday 7thFebruary until Thursday 17th February. We will give you a clue on our facebook page as to where to find the picture which you need to correctly identify and post back on both our wall and Travelling Potter’s wall.* First one with the right answer on each wall is entered into the draw.* We will put all the winners names into our trusted hat and announce the winner on Friday 18th February.* Best of luck everyone!!!

Anyone ever get sent the wrong prizes?

Was expecting to receive a body gift set before Christmas, never arrived ..so after following it up, today I got a make up set of similar value in the post.

Now this isn't much use to me as I had promised my sister the expected prize as a gift, and I wouldn't give her the make up set.

Annoying! Should I email them back or just be happy with the prize I got?

    Congratulations!

You have won 2 tickets to an exclusive screening of 'I Am Number Four' taking place in a Dublin cinema on February 15th.

    Thanks OP.

I think you should email them back. I never enter a comp that I think I won't use the prize and that someone else would benefit more from it than me so I'd be annoyed if I did not get the prize that was advertised.

I'd check the original T&C of the competition before you ring them. It's often very common to state that if you win X and it's not available when it's being dispatched you will be given Y which is of similar value.

I have to say I've had a couple of replacement items sent to me in the past instead of the original prize and I've never been disappointed.
