is that the Bluestacks on the horizon?

Nope, that mountain range is actually quite small and probably not well known. If any flyfishermen figure out where this lake is they will have found themselves a little goldmine (trout in that lake over two pounds):D

I will give you a small clue the photographer was facing directly south when the pic was taken.

I wonder if that is the Knockalla Hill range in the distance.

Is number 1 in the road towards the friary? Looking across the water to Doe Castle?

Very close and I will say correct, it was taken from inside the forest park.

Is it Lough Doira ( not sure if that is the correct name, it is in Fanad, a few miles north of Portsalon )?

    lol....some test
Thats the one. The locals call it 'lilly lake' but as someone already said here, its actual name is Lough Doira

nope its all free, but you wont be able to fish it properly unless you have a float tube. its not very accessible when the wind blows in one direction & you can relly only wade out a couple of metres in some places as the bottom drops off almost instantly

    is it Fahan?

Nope, its not a well know house in the county and pretty well hidden from the any main road, apart from the view from the water ( salt water! ).
