Umbical Cord Clips

Just saw these while looking through the buyrite website (thanks 5Live).
They're naval clamp for new-born calves. Anybody use them?

They seem like a good idea. Help keep out infection!
They look like those clips you'd put on the cornflakes bag.:D

hmm why would oyu bother though, its nearly easier give use iodine spray

we used them once , when a calf's navel wouldnt stop bleeding but a clothes peg does the same job , vet also said something about infection building up behind the clip

I used to tie off the calfs naval untill I got the same advice.
I stopped doing it then and use Iodine now. Or indeed Detol when I'm stuck!

And only 13.25 for 50! I dont use them but keep a few for calves that dont stop bleeding. I use iodine spray and lots of straw instead
