    hi my wii not loading games dont know if its the laser or motor,i heard you can play games without disc s , can this be done and can anyone in westmeath or surrounding counties do this .

    ye, you need an SD card, a usb hard drive and a read of one of the guides on wiihacks.com!

    You can softmod it and play backup games through a hard drive.

    Thing is, you need to softmod it, if it's on 4.3 firmware you need to play lego indiana jones the original adventures from the original disk, so to softmod it the dvd drive would need to be swapped with a working one, softmodded, then swapped back, it's a fairly easy process but you need the right tools, well a triwing screwdriver, a spare dvd drive, an SD card, and most importantly the real mentioned game.

    So it can be done, just a little extra work involved if it's on 4.3.
