what to charge?

    a farmer i know , lives 5 or 6 miles away from me , bouught a 20 acre field last year beside me, he is going to spread 20 loads of my slurry on his land , what do i charge him for the slurry? it is good cattle slurry with very little water in it , 2500 gallon loads

    Was it not valued at €30 per 1000 gallons in a recent IFJ? Making 50000 gallons worth €1,500.



    I suppose it depends on if he is a good friend or just an acquaintance:)

    The piggery beside us charged 1c/gallon so €40/per load.
    Brave women to be lending out a new tanker :P

    Did the journal figures take the cost of spreading into account?

    ye will see how it goes, money will come in handy.... ye our tanker is actually 2600 gallon ....

    It was a piggery's own tanker,So no extra charges
