Premature birth

    Hey lads just had a premature calf today, a still born this happened again last year he came abot 5 weeks early is there a reson for this and is there something i could do to prevent it?.

    Could be anything from a puck in the side to BVD! Do you vaccinate for BVD?

    if its only one , i wouldn't worry if you get another one do bloods for lepto etc

    Thanks hope it will just be the one,i might get her bloods done to put my mind at rest..Its a different cow this year the other one is still incalf so far anyway..
