Saw them at sunstroke that year, my head is still ringing form the skull crushing bass on this song. Dusted off the Betty cd this week and my god it has aged well, they did well on soundtracks in '94 being on the awesome crow and judgement night sound tracks

This album is the most brutal thing Deathspell Omega have ever done, not as chaotic and twisted as previous works but it sounds alot more focused. Best black metal album I've heard from last year.

will be followed by this, hope to see them in Dublin in February!

I believe that there are no words to describe repeated mindfulness practice, but Om's sound seems to hint at the calm/content feeling of disciplined meditation. I'd say it has shades of the Lateralus, I'm looking at Parabol.
