FAO peoples with cars with timing chains:

Chains can stretch and tensioners can fail, especially if the car has had some overly extended oil change intervals. If you have a chain, dont just assume "ah sure she'll be grand like". Be sure to check the chain, tensioners and associated stuff in there if you have an older car or one with higher mileage.

Keep in mind, when a car maker says "lifetime" about anything, at best they mean the lifetime of the original factory warranty.

So, I'll start with the most common ones I see, and if anyone has a specific car they'd like to check, just ask.

There's a few of em, but as i said, if anyone has a specific car they want to know about, just ask!
    Hope this helps someone out.

I know that engine is rated until 160,000km or 5 years in a Ford, not sure what Peugeot say off the top of my head.
