It's a free ad site supported by advertising. Nothing necessarily wrong with that.

However, the domain has it's ownership info hidden behind a privacy protection service. The domain has Russian connections and is hosted in Russia. This tallies with the bad english. They also don't have any decent contact information. They also probably have clones for other countries. Usually this means run a mile, however as it is free and no particularily senstive info appears to be requested, maybe it is OK. Personally, I'd skip it and look elsewhere as there are plenty of sites offering free basic listings/classifieds.

cheers for the reply. i was looking up iphones and it's the option of buy 5 and get one free kinda thing plus the sellers are spread all over the world. sounds way to good to be true. forgot to do a lookup on the domain, good thinking 99!
after a bit of researching i found the same adverts on some other free sites. dodge city i reckon

What a con! It's just a collection of every email in your spam filter. I would say with 100% certainty, there isn't a genuine ad on the entire thing. The only thing you're buying there is either fake or vapour.

ip-address.com is a good who-is lookup engine, as it also lists where the site is being hosted.
