I'm having a problem getting multiroom Self install boxes for my house. we currently have 2 boxes downstirs but when i tried ordering boxes for upstairs they want to charge an extra 50 euros for a tech to install a point.
I dont want another point upstairs as i have two downstairs.
I have 2 cables running upstairs already and tested the box in each room , works like a charm. so why wont they just give me the boxes and they get there extra view quid a month

Did you try telling them that the point already exists? I had one box in my apartment and got a second to go on an existing point.

    Hey

Just wondering if anyone has Ordered a Mutliroom HD Box recently

    http://www.upc.ie/television/mrv/

When you choose to order Online https://service.upc.ie/cckservices/order/addoffer?offerid=491 this appears...

"€10 a month and €30 connection for standard installs if you order online and choose the option to have the boxes delivered to you by courier whilst placing your order. An additional €50 connection fee per room applies for non-standard installs"

I don't mind the One-Off €30 and then €10 per month, but what does the €50/non-standards blur mean. I rang UPC Sales and I have been quoted different prices regarding the total price

    Thanks
