Oh forgot to mention, he'll need a deposit soon enough, half the cost, so either 125 or 150 depending on how the number of people, 300 euro for 30+ people. so it's a tenner each, which is pretty slick considering we get a whole net café to ourselves for the night,

I don't mind pitching in some capital and getting it back on the night.

RM mentioned nothing about a deposit, only said we need pay on the night an outstanding balance of €250. Seems like they have no idea how to deal with the situation, imo.

I automatically assumed a deposit would be needed. Couldn't see any palce taking a booking without some form of guarantee.
I assume they will have a staff member there to monitor?

Yeah, nobody books anything without a deposit, and yes, i believe there will be 1 member of staff there to overlook everything, i'm sure they'll be bored stupid though

Also, we're gonna need to do up a tournament chart and have someone run it properly so it's doesn't all go to **** on the night. Looking forward to this, looks like it won't be just a sc2 lan, but a mini lan that has a sc2 tourney

Those directions are different to the ones given in the PM, please can someone confirm this.

I can do that on the day, no problem. If someone is commuting by car, or will be in the city during the day is there any chance you'd pick up 2 sheets of A3 paper so we can sort some sort of bracket system? More would be better, if possible.

I've been to the xgc but never this 5 star place. The machines seem okay to run sc2 but whats it like? Does it have air conditioning or windows that can be opened? Coz the xgc can get quite hot. The street fighter tourneys aren't called "inferno" for nothing

She's 21 and will prob play some games through the night, at least we'll have some female contact

RM, you mentioned something for people interested in a prize pool Tournament. Well, for the people not on IRC, you'll have to contact Blinn but he has the Tournament generator up and running already so get in contact with him about it.

By no means are we forcing it upon anyone to pay towards a prize pool, the Tournament will go ahead regardless (and you will be in it) but it would make the evening pretty sweet if we could some sort of prize pool (3€ from everyone = €75) for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place on the night.

RM you may want to upadte the OP with people who are interested, too.

Woah! That sc2ranks thing is not a tournament; it's just a custom division you can make on sc2ranks so we can all compare stats and see how we're doing.

I was under the impression Bogger would be running the tournament, but I suppose I can take those names and put it into a bracket generator if you guys want me to.
