Watching a documentary on Channel 4 recently and the staff of a Police Control Room said they get facebook-related calls every day now - they didn't elaborate as to how these calls were handled or dealt with.

One of them turned into a full blown 999 call Police to one house with Blue lights. Girls outside house, caller got a threat made to her on facebook, then girls showed up at house.

Yes, folks do exactly that and I still can't understand why people threathen or insult other people on a yoke where half the world can see what they're at.

It would be like recording your own voice saying something like "Here you, Johnny Smith, yes you Johnny Smith with the black hair and the glasses my name Peter Jones and I'm going to feckin kill ya ..." and then send the tape to the local radiostation to be played after the 6 o'clock news.

    .

Because your voice can be identified........a posting on a social website cannot.

FB hasnt started this....Bebo did years ago. I remember investigating a few of them at some stage.

Any and all investigations into computer crime need to be initially reported to your local police station.
