Nuvi 610 not seeing new maps on SD card, no issue with Nuvi 265W

As the title says I got new maps, placed them on the SD card. My Nuvi 265W recognised them immediately and allowed me to select them but my Dads Nuvi 660 did not. The 660 recognises the older maps on the SD card so it's quite confusing.

Could a mod change the thread title to say Nuvi 660 rather than 610.

Did you buy the maps for the Nuvi 265W?
Maps are matched to devices.

Yeah the maps were for the 265W but I rarely use the GPS.

No way to get them working on the 660 so?
