Power adaptors for pedals

    Are there cheaper alternatives out there than buying Boss adaptors for boss pedals and accessories?

    I need 2 adaptors for a Boss Pedal and a Boss Micro BR and these are running at €25 each in Xmusic and elsewhere online.

    Can anyone point me where I can get universal ones and their name to fit. Im not a techie and all that voltage, watts and polarisation stuff melts my brain.

    Just get one plug and a daisy chain. They cost about €5 in Xmusic I think. You just plug one end into your plug and it gives it an extra 5-6 outputs

    But a Boss PSA only supplies 200mA of current. The Micro BR draws 140mA alone, depending on what the pedal is, you mightn't be able to chain them both off one PSA.

    Also, the pedal would need to be right next to the recorder, which isn't ideal!

    Aye, but in terms of keeping it low cost there's not a whole lot of other options. If you can get a 9v negative adaptor with a higher mA that isn't branded you're laughing. I've only ever used the plugs I've gotten with pedals though. The EHX ones are good

    I dont often use them but if I ever need them I get the cheapest ones I can lay my hands on €2 in the euro shop expensive or not I find they never really last

    I see the drawback of the daisy chain and the power bank if using the recorder while using pedals at the same time although I think that power bank unit is very handy for multiple pedals and effects units.
