Books for midwifery course at UCD

I am a second year Midwifery Student in UCD - I wouldnt go rushing into buying too many books if I were your wife.

She will be doing Anatomy & Physiology - so the book that we were advised to get was this one:

If she hasnt done any science subjects before, she might find the "dummy" books helpful to read over the summer eg. "anatomy & physiology for dummies" "chemistry for dummies" etc etc

She will do Anatomy & Physiology
and
Scientific Principles (which includes biology, chemistry & physics)

The library in the health science library where she will be studying, has all the books she will need - so tell her not to rush out buying too many books!
