I of course refer to Bacon, Ham and Sausage!

There is also a pantheon of lesser Pork Deities, Ribs, Chops, Trotters etc that can be seen as a heavenly chorus.

So, is it time to embrace Pork Theology? or am I hopelessly behind time?

There's your first flaw. Describing ribs as "lesser" is completely wrong. Ribs are right up there with bacon.

It is not the first time my reasoning was declared faulty, I believe the Current Wife did much the same just last evening!

Let us not quibble over the placement of the deities, although I think we can put loin roasts lower on the scale. Not enough fat!
