How do you get out of it without losing half a farm? We really have the christmas spirit in a big way.

An uncle of mine tells the story of 'Mick', the batchelor farmer beside him that was always getting teased about finding himself a woman.

'Sure I suppose you'd end up losing half your farm if it didn't work out' a neighbour piped up in the pub oine night, winking at all those who were listenin'
'Ah I'd have a way of gettin' aroung that' says Mick '.......I'd marry a woman with more than meself! ':D

anyone who has made a move out of suckling towards dairying keeps going that direction, and a big lift in prices across the farming sector without the following rise in imput costs that will follow, for once. hope santa fills all your socks have a good one, brad.

Amen to that. Couple of our lads driving home for Christmas for the first time this year. With the bad roads and so on, its impossible to relax till they arrive safely. That will be near midnight at best. Wouldn't mind having them here making mince pies and waiting for Santa instead.
