I completely approve of this. If I ever have to run a shop I'll have a commitment to good music over Christmas music.

In other news, "White Christmas" and "Let it Snow" should be banished from Irish radio. The snow is awful, please stop it.

I hate Chris Martin. He's a twat with a punchable face and his voice is really whiney and annoying......

......having said that, Coldplay do have some great songs (The Scientist, Lost, Clocks are all pretty great.)
They have a lot of crap too though ("I wrote a song for you. Oh what a thing to do. And it was called Yellow." OMG SHUT UP YOU GORMLESS TWITTERING IDIOT!!! And "Talk" was an insult to Kraftwerk - [comic book guy]Worst. Sampling. Ever.[/comic book guy])

I agree with every single word of that post. Well, except for The Scientist and Clocks being pretty great, I don't like those songs but I do like some Coldplay stuff; Violet Hill and Live in Technicolour (ii) are awesome.

That was in Filmography 2010. (classy video, I must add). I want to create an extended version of the song as it appears in the video (it features some awesome film quotes and part of it is mashed up with Kanye's "Power") but my sound editing skills are weak.
That said, it in its original form is an amazing song too.

Finally, I've fallen in love with KCRW's Eclectic24 music channel. 24/7 music streaming with very few ads? Lovely. (the only ads that are there are ads saying that there are no ads because of user donations, so donate). I'm finding a LOT of good music today as a result of having this station on: all genres.
