I having a strange problem with my router I think

basically I got 2 Ethernet cables in the back (one was installed yesterday) and now im having trouble with my laptop wireless signal. I just cant browse the internet at all. I plugged the modem out twice now to see will that work, nope. So I tried using an Ethernet cable to the laptop and that works like a charm.

would the ip address be clashing or somthing

any ideas what could be wrong

probably give each device a designated ip instead of just getting on from the router

make sure the cables are all coming out of the right ports and check the settings too i guess!
