I actually don#t think that I've ver said my name aloud.

Slasher Mc Gurk. Slash-er Mc-Gurk. Sla-sher-mc-gurk. Kinda loses all meaning after a while

Shame there's no one here to hear it :'(

You could pronounce it in a highly affected French accent. That would be embarrassing :D

No but I don't like when other boardsie people call me my username loudly in a quiet pub. I do cringe a bit when the conversation steers toward using usernames.

Well, I once had a Boardsie come up to me in Maynooth and say that he knew that I was Jakkass unbeknownst to me as to how. That was quite strange. Perhaps another of the boardsies I got to know from the NUIM forum pointed me out to him, but it was nice adding another face to a username.

Had agreed to sell my spare Trinity Ball ticket to a boardsie. Was meeting her in the Arts block and was reclining on a couch talking to some friends when I spotted a girl walking around and loudly asking "Is one of you Gordon Gecko?" :D

Would I admit to my own username? No.

But I would gladly let people think I'm Starbelgrade or Pighead just for their hilarious posts.

Is it fraud? Probably. But who the fcuk cares if people think you're that witty & funny?

Ten minutes later when I've actually managed to get through all six syllables, yeh, it's pretty embarrassing.

It was also embarrassing when I met someone at Electric Picnic, not having a clue he was a boardsie, and it was bugging him that he knew my face from somewhere. Then I tripped and a voice behind me goes "whoopsadaisydoodles" morto :pac:

Say you had cancer, and the only man who could save your life was called Dr Frayda, and you called him Dr. Frahdah instead? imagine how silly you'd feel
