    i hoping to get some advice, was going to plough up and try seed kale during the summer, for some sheep to eat next winter, im guessing i can put grass seed down too, or not??? not a clue so any help or past experience appreciated thanks,, sorry meant to add forage rape to the head title,

    Have a look on the above site,
    I have kale for weanlings this year, they were getting maize silage along with bbs when the frost came as they couldn't eat the kale when it was frozen.

    Sorry don't know anything about sowing the grass along with it, might be rvp? Kale I had this year has a very dense cover, I don't think grass would grow under the kale.

    If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

    cool thanks, no i dont think grass grows with kale, i think it will with the rape,
