I wasn't at either gig but I heard it was either Moby or Aphex Twin at the SFX and he pulled out a blender or something to play with. Crowd went mad, as in not happy. Throwing stuff n sh!t. Heard this years ago but was never proved.

Any of ye old boys on here confirm. Would love to know if it's true. Do know both played there at some stage, think Moby was early 90's, AFX 98ish like someone else said

Yea I can confirm it was Moby - was there at the SFX that night. As far as I recall Mark Kavanagh warmed up, the crowd were well up for it then and expecting the likes of 'Go' etc. I was down the back, and ahem, severly under the influence (doves that night) but Moby came out with a guitar and started playing. I didn't actually see it myself because I was down the back - but by all account a few water bottles were launched in his direction, and the legged it.

My memory is a little hazy, but as far as I can remember the gig wasn't cancelled - somebody else played. They probably got Mark Kavanagh back on to prevent a full scale riot!

After recently coming across some tuneage i hadn't heard in years,i've put together 40 mins of tunes that were on a tape a friend gave me round 93/94 simply labeled 'Drop Dead Fred'.Never had a clue who or what it was.as far as i remember only a few of the tunes were on any other tapes i had and would love to hear it again!!
Maybee some of you guys have the mix,maybee labeled as something else as i always wondered who it was??
Hopefully this refreshes someones memory:)

Anyone know the track coming in at around 4.22 in this clip from Carl Cox at Mayday in 95? Sounds a bit like a mix of Pullover by Speedy J but defo not on any 12" I have of that track.

iv'e listened to it rocky and would like to know it myself.It's well pitched up tho(as they all were)and someone on here should know it!

nice 1 sgt fair play 2 ye, i do a show on tonik on thursday nite 10 till 12 i try play just hard trance u never get 2 hear it any more unfortunatly:( its d best music my opinion anyway try tune in let us knw wat u tink all the best bud thanks again....

Thats the track thats on the Ed Case - Last nite of the Asylum.Still waiting on that 1 meself.that will complete the forementioned tracklist aswell.:D
