Have you got racing tyres? Good suspension? Good gearbox? Power is great but the car needs to be able to put it on the tarmac.

The handling on the Ford was terrible after it was super to 830, but it did the job. I deliberately sabotaged the other Ford race car in the World Championship because he was going to go ahead of me if he'd won one of the races. Lamped him into a corner and he came 3rd.

Now to save for a Lamborghini.

you could also use an Isuzu 117COUPÉ '68, with few cheap mods you could beat everything with the exception of the Dome. That only turned up once in my races on world and jap classics though. You will struggle in the world races on the longer straights against the alfa (i think) but soon catch up through the corners

That's what I used and won it without any hassle.

What muscle car have you guys been using for the first muscle car cup? I tried using the Camaro and a Challenger and both were rubbish, topping out at about 110mph. Is it a case of picking any old muscle car and then piling on the upgrades?

How are ye finding the licences, im going onto IA one now with 35 golds and 5 silvers in the others, those slalom licences were hard. Any one see the Suzuki Escudo pikes peak version in the game, cant see it anywhere. My fave GT car

i just used a Chevrolet Corvette Stingray for the classic muscle car (bout 126mph with a few mods, enough to keep you in touch) then using the Buick i won for pretty much everything else involving classic, rwd, US cars. Gona put it against the big boys later and see how it gets on

Loving this game so far, only thing that's annoying me is being expected to have an in depth knowledge of Japanese compacts etc. to find the right cars for certain events, there should be an easier way.

I got a Chevrolet chevelle second hand. It's about 450 Bhp without any mods. Its the same car Reese (Ricky Bobby's dad) has in talladega nights. Saw a few Plymouth superbirds in the second hand dealers yesterday, I reckon they're decent too.

Tip: don't buy your first supercar at midnight when you have to get up early. Got a ferrari 458 italia last night and didn't get to bed till 2am:(
Got the soft racing Tyres for it too, they may be 36 grand, but they're unreal.

I tuned a Nissan GTR for this championship. Put on the racing tyres and the various aerodynamic attachments as well and it pissed this championship. The Lambourghinis are horrible to drive there's a race using a Gallardo in the final test of the I-A licence and it was horrible to drive.

I used a race-modded Integra for those, but that's an expensive way to do it.

If you find a Celica GT-FOUR, that might be decent for it with a load of lightening and race tyres.

I'd say so. I don't like 'em, but it's the last gold I need for the Pro Series.

Is that the one for about €157k? I tried my hand at karting for the first time last night and won the first 4 races, bringing my balance to about 120k. Seriously tempted to save a bit more and go for it.

The level 7 Kart race seems impossible, can I mod the Kart somehow?

I won both of those on my first attempt. Strangely enough I found that the key is to NOT brake. Instead I just eased off accelerator and eased into corners, and hit the throttle again about half way through the bend. I was actually surprised at the distance I finished ahead of 2nd. €34,000 in the bag then. Happy days.

Yep the 09. Of course I put another 400/500k into it once I bought it. Full Nurburgring in 6:30 on my 2nd lap with it.
    Its awesome :pac:

God the Bugatti is comically fast. Doing 130mph in it feels like about 50 in a normal car.

Is the track for high speed tests available at all on this or does it need to be unlocked?
