    Not a bad price, especially for the likes of Maplin. Prob see cheaper online from UK but when you factor in postage and all, not much difference.

    Offer ends 24th December. Store locations: Cork, Dublin, Dublin Blanchardstown, Dundalk, Galway, Limerick.

    Two tuners.
    Real PVR, not micky mouse ext USB and single tuner.
    Proper EPG
    MHEG5
    MPEG4
    DVB-S2
    HDMI
    HD downsampling to SCART
    ethernet (does what?)

    Proper Freesat HD, not Generic FTA SD junk

    Though current Humax are 500G and 1000G rather than 320G? but 320G is pretty decent.
    It's not bad for High Street Shop.

    I'd check what price Humax is and similar Technisat etc.

    Does it do Diseqc? No mention of it in manual. Though it does allow non-Freesat channels

    With two tuners? MHEG5, HD and not fiddle with Firmware every other week?

    I doubt it.

    That was a fictional pre-release price.

    Which includes only one tuner and NO hard drive, excluded, tax, shipping etc.

    It's a hobbyist system, and for Freesat HD, VERY poor value compared with a real PVR.

    A Real PVR doesn't use a USB stick for firmware, as it's unlikely you need to change it.
    A Real PVR has two tuners and correct kind of hard drive included.

    It's here for 269 Eur (+ shipping?)
    https://www.satboy.com/index.php?a=402
    Or 235 EUr here http://www.devilcards.de/Receiver-Sat/Duolabs/Qbox-HD-Mini::31.html
    Sales pack includes:

    QBox mini:
    1x DVB-S2 tuner
    => 1x Optional DVB-T / DVB-S2 / DVB-C Tuners available
    1x Multifunctional Remote Control
    1x User guide
    1x HDMI quality cable
    1x Gift Box
    Wi-Fi card is available as option not included in the standard sales configuration.
    PVR function is now available through external USB device. You can easily record your contents using an external device such as HDD or USB Pen drives

    Also I know guy who worked on Enigma, Enigma2 is not a good consumer FTA choice.

    I think maybe it has wired ethernet so unless you are just using it for Card sharing the WiFi is pointless anyway.

    And thats explain more than everything. And i know someone who knows someone who spoken with Elvis, sorry mate dont understand me wrong but you are compleatly noob in Enigma receivers i have 3 at home and using them for more than 6 years now.And one thing which i can say is never ever something different than enigma, whatever fta or with card.Cardsharing who intrested in this thread about it i saying only about fta functions, pvr, epg.Dont compare ever hardware with closed firmware source to open Enigma/2 sources.Im out this thread, further discusion is pointless. And about prices 500gb external hdd is cost around 50-60e only.

    Maybe if you'd googled a bit more you'd have found the existing thread on the QBox mini here. Good luck trying to even source one, not to mind for €199. And they still haven't fixed the firmware to allow you to dual record from the same transponder.
