    Dear Snow,

Once you don't cancel my flight to california tomorrow, have at it.

    Yours etc.

    Me.

I heard a rumor that it will be -6 tonight.

This is unsubstantiated, and I will not even take the two minutes to go to rte to confirm it, infact, this disclaimer took more effort.

    SNOW!

It's worse than that, they told the government to turn off the country's heating in order to save money. It's going to be a cold cold winter...

Its ok though, Berba on Match of the day will set the room on fire!

The US Army's worst kept secret finally gets "unveiled" then. Jesus, I was looking at pictures of this thing 5 years ago in it's "disguise".

    578px-XM25_Individual_Airburst_Weapon_System.jpg

    Also...
Lehner said he expects other nations will try to copy its technology, but it will be very cost-prohibitive

Try to copy it? The XM25 was primarily designed by the Germans as the XM29. This one is basically the XM29 H&K designed with the assault rifle dropped out.
Daewoo are producing one called the K11, which is already being issued by Korea and has seen service in Afghanistan, and GIAT have one pretty much ready to go called the PAPOP for the French. Both have larger HE rounds (the K11 uses 30mm, but I think the PAPOP went for 35mm. I can't be sure, but I remember it being huge, which was part of their weight issue) which have shorter ranges but much higher yields, but both also have an integrated assault rifle chambered for 5.56mm rounds.
The French one is also (if I remember accurately) something around the €5,000 mark (though that could be without the sighting system), making it a fifth of the XM25.
Hell, the Soviets had a combined rifle system like this in development back in the 70's.

I'm getting irrationally pissed off about this now. All this money and development on this and "Futurewarrior", and they won't trial Dragonskin armour or issue Vortex flash-hiders.

You are literally the Day9 of the airsoft world, do a ****ing daily show plx

What was the soviet offering, I never heard of one?

Oh jeez, I haven't a bog. I don't think it ever got an official designation. It actually looks pretty slender, you'd mistake it for a standard AK of the period very easily. The front handguard was bulked out on one side, the grenade barrel sitting inside, aside the standard KE barrel. The magazine for the grenades sat somewhere forward of the KE round magazine. The HE rounds were pretty small diameter. I think the KE rounds were non-standard too actually.

There's hardly enough going on in the airsoft world to warrant a daily show anymore. I don't think there's even enough to warrant a weekly one. Monthly, maybe. I'd need a cocast though.

Can everyone who keeps saying the snow is great/wonderful/lovely etc kindly fück off?
I left the house for Dundalk at 7am this morning and I only arrived 5 minutes ago. A 70 minute journey should not take six fücking hours and no amount of your "but the views would have been beautiful" bullshįt is going to change how irate I am.
