"New" Old tractor

I'm thinking of selling my MF165..... and have to consider what to replace it with. I'm limited to €5000 budget and expect €2000 for the 165.

What is the opinion of older Zetors, MFs, Fords?
Are there any shining stars to look for or absolute horrors to avoid?

Also, I know almost nothing about Ursus but a friend tells me he has one and it's never let him down. Are they a kind of Zetor?

Idealy, I'd like something reliable and economical with a front loader... What are my chances of getting what I want for €5k?

Why are you selling the 165? Any particular reason?

If what you have, does what you want it to do, then why sell? If not, what are the req other than under 5k with a loader?

well i don t know all your details but i would spend more
less than 10k you could get something better
i find it a pain trying to sell plant myself

An Urses is an MF 2 Series by another name - as reliable as fcuk - know a bloke who has one with a front loader, but a bit lightweight at the backend for lifting bales etc....so will need backend ballast - as per previous post - DoneDeal is a good place to look, but dont expect anything marvellous for 5k

Obviously I don't know the tractor so can't comment on its condition, but if it's straight, it's a bargain and would be every bit as reliable as anything else of the same vintage. It has Tanco loader brackets on it too.

Is that 5k plus 2 for the 165 or 5 total, heres two for more than yopur budget but might be worth a look

I have to say the 6610 with loader that a previous poster linked to above looks very good value for money - they're a good tractor

Of course you could go north to get more bang for your buck

Looks lovely....but way out of my price range. Still waiting for feedback from people on what an Ursus is like...!

I've an Ursus, find it great, simple easy to use tractor, zero electronics as one of the previous posters said its the same as the MF2 series. No problems with round bales and I've a tanco loader on it as well. Its a budget tractor so if u're not looking for anything fancy it would do the job fine

i'd love to get this one and are hard 2 come by. not dear if u got a few hundred knocked off it. u should trade in the 165 i bet u would get a nice few quid 4 it if its mechanicly ok

Plenty of choice in 5 - 7k on done deal. I'd only have exp of MF and Ford, so would recommend 290 especially the 12speed or 6610/7610
