    Hey guys, Well i've been reading all these treads all week thought i'd log in and join in the chat.... going to open a bottle of wine and snow watch ha ha the alcohol will keep me warm:P.. can't BELIVE another year has gone and i'm back ''snow chasing'' & ''watching orange lamp-posts for snow'' ha ha.... anyways just down from Clane here, clouds coming in from the East.. humm wonder if any snow will hit me tonight.. one of the websites YR.no has snow hitting kildare at 3am....

    Looking at what's happening over Aberdeen, the east cost of Ireland is in the h'penny place compared to it!

    Very heavy in Bray now. Roads, Roofs and Pavements white again. Flakes not graupel atm.

    Will it be gone by the time I wake up in the morning like today though.

    Snow is pelting down in santry! Just braved it with a ruler and we've got just over an inch is the space of ten minutes!!

    Winds definitely a bit more easterly now, pushing that big organised clump of showers onshore. From North Co. Dublin down to Wicklow town look like getting something in the next couple of hours, then maybe down to Arklow/Gorey Wexford Co. later.

    Snowing pretty steady for an hour or so in Swords, an inch or two down already.

    Edit: its about an inch at best just went out to do a more scientific evaluation :)
