    Snow in Kilcullen, Kildare and a few MAJOR ligthening bolts, never seen or heard anything like it before

    very dark again with a hail snow mix causing the clumps of snow to slide off the tree's
    You'd swear you were in a mountain forest

    Big lightning now and long thunder clap

    Not a flake here all night. I can see grey clouds off to the east but it's blue sky overhead. I'm sure many midlanders missed out and will miss out on the fun and games. To you I say, keep the faith and remember it's still three days before winter actually begins according to met office rules....We'll get our day in the ...err ... Snow...

    Nothing much else here, coasting of inch of hail.

    Some night! Looks like North Irish sea is clearing while fair amount of precip heading into Southeast.

    Might be it till tonight.

    Whopper weather night though:D

    thunder and lightening every few seconds here in arklow. it been going on all night. snow is very heavy

    beautiful sunny skies here in Ennis at the moment and just the slighest breeze. No snow and doesn't look like we will be getting any anytime soon :(

    heavy thunderstorm now with a sleet/hail snow mix

    no rain as yet but it can't be far off as temps going wrong side of marginal now
    lightning and thunder 2 times in the last 10 mins or so overhead and inbetween a lot of rumbles!

    A covering, but not a very substantial one, in D15. Thunder woke me last night. It looks like the sky is starting to clear a bit, I've a feeling what snow is here won't be long thawing :\

    edit - though it's just started hailing/snowing now, with bluer skies to the north.
