New bar in Wicklow Town (Market Sq) ??

    I noticed a new bar/pub in Market Square looks like opening soon. It's beside the Steak House in the corner of the square.

    Anyone any info on what it's going to be like. (Sports bar/Disco bar/Serve food etc??)

    The town is crying out for a decent pub to do a bit of pubgrub.

    It's called Whistlers Bar. I haven't been in it yet will probably get in there soon though. They have a facebook page if you want to add them but here are some pictures from that:

    Been in it myself and know a few involved in the bar.

    Think it's going to be a mix of sport and disco. They had a dj playing on saturday night and have HD and 3d tvs ready for all the sports events!

    It looks good inside imo. Quite modern although it wouldn't be the biggest!
