    Decided to apply to do the green cert course as its handy to have!! im doing the evening course and i know the basics about farming and how to run a farm but just looking for an insight into what will i be doing and what will they teach you!! and is the startin up grant still around!!

    Installation aid is gone now. Went about 12 months ago or more I'd say.

    I don't know if there is any financial gain to be achieved by doing the green cert these days other than stamp duty and I wouldn't be in too much of a rush to pay my money for a course until I saw what way that was going to go in the next few months??

    You might just be doing it for the educational benefit alone and its questionable if it would be worthwhile for that alone.

    very questionable ,best way of learning about farming is to go work on a good one
