Question Regarding Guitar Returns

    Hi guys, I'm in a bit of a situation at the moment and I'm wondering if anyone here has been in a similar situation and can provide any insight/advice? Basically, I bought a second hand PRS Singlecut from a shop in England. It was advertised as being in 'Crazy Condition' and when I emailed to get more details about it I was told "it is in crazy condition, no dings and no fret wear!!!". This sounded perfect so I bought it.

    It arrived on Monday and looking over it, it appeared to be in less than crazy condition. The headstock face was scratched to bits, the front of the body had several light indentations and the back had some buckle rash. I wouldn't have minded this if I had known about it prior to buying this but I was under the impression I had paid for a near-mint guitar which this wasn't. I got in touch with the shop about a refund/discount and we agreed that I should send it back for a refund. They issued the refund today but are refusing to refund any of the shipping. I wouldn't mind if we even split the costs but at the moment I'm out 100 euro from paying shipping both ways which I think is unfair.

    From my perspective I was sold something that wasn't as described, but their stance on the whole thing is that terms like 'crazy condition' are individually subjective and they are treating this as me changing my mind on wanting the guitar which would leave me liable for shipping costs. Anyone have any advice how to proceed or should I just drop it?
