    Hey guys,
I heard that in the toys for big boys expo there recently there was a device that you could attach to the neck of your guitar. This device had a screen when displayed chords and lyrics so that you could learn playing the guitar from it.
I am wondering if anyone out there might know what this device is called and possible where could I get it?
Any help would be appreciated. Trying to give myself plenty of time for Christmas Presents.
    Thanks
    Al

    The iTab?
    www.itab.com
Think it was developed in Maynooth. XMusic stock them, or at least had them on their website last time I went looking.

Banjo, you are a god, thank you so much, thats it exactly. Have you by any chance tried it out?

No sorry, just heard about it when they had a guy from Toto in the local night club for the launch, was looking at it as a present for someone else, didn't go for it in the end. Has great potential - especially the idea of synching up multiple units so a band are all literally singing off the same hymnsheet - but I didn't like the idea of a proprietry system where you can only source the tab from one place.

Appreciate the input. Fairly put, it would be nice to load in some tabs from ultimate-guitar or somewhere else. Thanks for all your help anyway. Will look around the net for some reviews to see what people think.
    Many thanks
    Al

I think you can only load tabs that you've bought from them.

Yep you download tabs from them and they are the only legal tab site as the artists get royalties. There is however a tab editor which you can use to create your own.
