    Depends on the cable. I find when it comes to nintendo cables the third party stuff is alot higher quality than the official ones which can be shockingly bad.. If the connectors are gold plated you are usually on to a winner, have a madcatz one which is very good quality.

    I looked online but I really can't see that much of a difference from the screenshots alone. You really reccomend it for playing the Wii on a HDTV though?
    Also, silly question, but it wouldn't make a difference in ordering from the States would it? Like differences in region?

    Yeah that' the one. I'd only recommend playing a wii on a HD TV if you are using either a component cable or an RGB scart cable. With the pack in yellow red and white cables the image is going to look absolutely horrendous. it's terible on an SD TV but even worse on a HDTV. RGB and Component give much better visual quality.
