I hate sony anything, in my experience sony stuff never lasts very long. I'd just pick a camera make that does cameras and not every other electrical item on the market.

    It's cold out there!

    I'm a Sony whore :p

My PS2 lasted from launch until the PS3 came along, that's still working perfectly, my Sony TV and home cinema is serving me well too! I have a Sony VAIO desktop but I'm too lazy to walk over to it and see if it's still alive.

I'm developing a strange fondness for coffee. It's nearly replacing half of my daily cups of tea! I made Brazilian coffee sweeties :)
    But now I can't sleep >_<

Well Gabriela's pretty hot tbh! That'll be the eye candy sorted!

They play funky jazz...if yer into that sort of thing? not bad though. Lead guy used to be lead guitarist in Testament.

I'll just leave this right here since we were told not to film stuff >_>:

I'm getting more into coffee myself, as I dont put sugar in that but into regular tea, and it's quite nice anyway!

Coffee sweeties...I imagine they are nice yes?

    Yes ofc!

But tea shouldn't be drunk with sugar. It completely ruins it. Same with milk unless the tea is very bad quality and bitter and horrible, or steeped for too long, and you must mask the bitterness with milk.

Good coffee is also nicer without sugar, yup. :)

*goes off to get a cup of tea*

I just realised that lately I've been sleeping no earlier than 4am every night, so I don't have much hope of sleeping tonight =/

It's just not the type of game you would regularly come across on the net...and it brings in some aspecs of structural engineering :)

    Those sweeties, enjoy them!

I was aiming to just cut the sugar out of it, but may give up regular tea anyway, only drink green and possibly another flavour. Agreed with the coffee, I have heard about a place that does really good coffee...well two places that I need to visit ^_^

You should probably fix that pattern again, can't have you falling asleep in lectures :pac:

EWWWW green tea with sugar.... Though green tea is so tasty without it. And btw it seems to be the best thing to aid concentration if you're studying. Or maybe that's just me. Though if you're sleepy you'll need a bit more caffeine which mightn't help concentration.

Why do you want to give up tea? I wouldn't, if I were you.

I would never drink green tea with anything other than lemon...ugh horrible thoughts of putrid green tea in my mind now:( It is a great study aid I have been told, seems to work on me too so may be true, who knows!

I drink too much normal tea I believe, caffeine is not good all the time and all those tannins ruining my iron absorption rates. Maybe a cup per day would be good?

Then maybe you could take advantage of a free shoulder, and not learn any more maths :pac:

I need sleep, up early for a dental visit in the morning...toothache since yesterday morning is not nice so need to get tooth assessed asap:( I'll miss an important lecture...but sure I'll catch up I guess. Goodnight all!

As long as you don't drink tea very close to the time you've had food, and also take enough vitamin C (and high iron food ofc) you'll be fine.

A lot of people in my family have had iron deficiency anemia. I'm the person who drinks the highest amount of tea in my family. I've never had any problems at all. In fact the doctor always expects me to be anemic because of my weight and (sunlight avoidance induced) paleness haha. I doubt it'll ever happen though as I'm not even low on iron. Though I think it might be a good idea to cut down on the amount of tea I drink. Hmmm...

I don't think it's possible to survive on a cup of tea per day. Then again I do drink a lot of other types of infusions as well so I guess those shouldn't count.

I'm gonna try to sleep too.

Hope the dentist isn't too scary MoN =/

That would probably do, althought I doubt I've any iron deficiencies. I'm opposite in that I drink the least amount of tea in my family, and not the one in my family that actually was anaemic. You'll be fine though since you look after your nutrition even more than I do, but cutting down on tea couldnt hurt too much hehe!

Not sure what time you got sleep, but toothache woke me 4 times >.< Hope you had a much better sleep than I did.

I didn't sleep at all. Now I'm trying to finish a stupid lab report that I couldn't do last week because of other stuff I had to do :(

That really sucks, I hope you can get some tonight instead! The lab report shouldnt be too bad, shame it was left out for other/more important stuff...hate catching up on work too. Get some sleep early will you please?

Tooth is mostly sorted, if not fully ok by Wed/Thurs then I'll need to go back to have it extracted :(

Just found out I only have two lectures tomorrow, such good news!

The lab report was actually the worst I've ever done (I'm including any lab work I've done in all my education). Was nasty, nasty stuff. It wouldn't be bad at all if we were told what to do with it! I hate it when things aren't clear. The experiment was very very easy but they made us write the report in a completely different way than usual and it was horrible and they didn't really tell us what they were looking for and so everyone in my group has compleeetely different reports. Like nothing coincides at all, other than the headings and the results. We didn't even use the same graphs (I had some of it already done btw. It wasn't just left till the last minute or anything). I'm so tired.

Reminds me of that time a few weeks ago when the demonstrator pretty much made us do the experiment the wrong way. It was the easiest experiment ever, and a rehash of a stupid LC experiment. I didn't know it was possible to make it go wrong. But it did. Needless to say, I really don't like that woman.

Lucky you, with your 2 lectures..

thats put me in a nice sleeping mood now :)

anothernight I feel your pain, I hated hated hated lab reports so much, for 3rd year labs we had to do 10 page reports for each lab and we had 2 of those a week :(
I don't know if I would swap it for the work-load this year, I've come to realise that I'm a lazy ****er.
I've been in college and living here for so long ahhh, I'll be mega happy when this year is over.

Ouch! I never expected it would be that bad of a report. You mentioned to me before that you had some already done, but with it bringing out a rant from you...not a nice assignment at all. I think that woman is just trying to be difficult, ignore her ^-^

I would think lucky too, but this hopeful solution to tooth problem failed last night, so I'm gonna miss those lectures and have tooth extraction instead. It's better for me in the long run, since I've lots of study to do over next two weeks for more exams.

Woah...10 page lab reports? I thought doing 6 pages (including drawings) was bad for mine! I seem to be taking my work a bit more relaxed than I should be really...but you still like your course or you wouldnt be doing it :) Swapping is only good if it's less work than this year haha!

well 10 pages that include graphs, pics etc but still ughhhh.
Still not half as bad as this year, forever with stuff to hand in and in-class exams and trying to keep up with the final year project. I wish I had more motivation, I just feel so lazy about the whole thing.

For some reason I just went "mmmm metal" as if metal (the material) was edible  I wish it was. Shiny...

Bahh, lab report done, turned out really bad and I doubt they're gonna like it but whatever. I hate the fact that the stupid maths program for our maths assignments says 5 of my answers were wrong when in fact only 1 of them was. *sigh*

It would be cool if Tar was a woman. The LOS would be a lesbian, living in a house full of lesbians, and it sounds mad fun!

Em... There was something else. If I remember I'll post it!

I keep getting this weird thing where if I think of something it appears. I thought it'd be nice to talk to my school friend again. Turned around, there she was (she's in UCD. I was waiting for my bus on Westmoreland St). I wanted to re-read Dune. Talking to a mate, he brings up the book, tells me that he's reading it and shows me the book. I wanted some chocolate. A friend appears and offers chocolate. It's a bit freaky.

    Maths program? Esplains.

Every week we have a maths assignment with consists of a set of maths questions on the topic we've done that week. They're done online, on this website https://edugen.wiley.com/edugen/secure/index.uni . The thingy is called WileyPLUS. You get a code from the maths book to register. It's not normally too bad, but this time it was so awkward. Like, I got the right answer, put it in, it said it was wrong, then second attempt I put in the same thing because I knew it was right. After your second attempt it tells you the answer. It was exactly what I'd put in >_>

I don't think we learn much that way anyway. The method has absolutely no bearing on our result, and of course since we can see if our answer is right or wrong as soon as we submit it, by the time we see the green tick and "correct" written beside it, we've already forgotten what we've just done. We'd learn much more if we did the questions out on paper and submitted them that way, as it would take away the immediate satisfaction. But I guess it'd be more work for the lecturer...
