Any chance you clever folks would post your answers here for the not so techy rest of us?

I thought sharing answers was part of the ethos here....;)

Generally yes, but these one took ages to figure out so I doubt people will share their answers. I eventually submitted it with only 21 filled in.

Has it come to that? I thought we all shared so increasing the chances of SOMEONE from boards.ie can win? Obviously I was wrong.

If you feel that strongly about it, keep them. Very petty.

You see most of the competitions on here are random winner ones but this one takes a bit more skill and time, that's the difference.

Ah....no, if you check back you'll see loads with questions that people have asked for help on and other boardies have provided answers for.

What you're doing is the equivalent of finding a bargain and not posting it on the bargain alerts page, whilst simultaneously availing of all bargains other people posted. As I said earlier - keep them. Couldn't be ar$ed now.

Ok but did you sit there for an hour and try to figure the Elara questions out and then post your answers here? No, you're just waiting for others to think hard and come up with the answers for you. Until you've posted some of the answers you're in the same boat as me.

Firstly, I have posted competitions and given answers in the past if you'd like to check my posting history.

Secondly, no, I didn't spend an hour doing it but that's not the bloody point!!!!! Everyone who has ever posted an answer or a competition here has taken some time to do same - obviously you value your time over the time of others.

Finally, you don't come on here and smugly say that you have X answers without sharing them. The purpose of this thread (unless I'm very much mistaken) is to share, but like I've said several times - if they mean THAT much to you, keep them. I really hope you win, you deserve it!

That is the point. This competition takes at least an hour to get right, while 99% of the other competitions can be entered in under 3 minutes. That's the difference here.

Actually I do come on here and say I have X answers but it wasn't smug, it was that I submitted it with plenty unanswered.

Mean much to me? Well just competitive enough to spend an hour or more trying to figure them out, whereas you haven't tried at all really or you'd have posted some answers here wouldn't you?

I really hope you win, you deserve it!

Cheers, I'll keep working on those last few answers.

Last time I'm posting on this or responding to you - I haven't even had a chance to look at it yet, but if I do, I will share my answers, be that 1 or 20 or however many questions I can answer - even with you. I'm sure regular posters here will agree with most, if not all of what I've said. And my final comment was clearly sarcastic.

So what you're saying is you're asking for the answers to a game of skill before trying to do it yourself. Well that says enough. We look forward to your follow-up post with the answers you figure out. Watch this space.
And my final comment was clearly sarcastic.

    Oh really?

The Christmas Spirit has taken an early vacation from the thread?
